April 2023 Update & AGM

The 2023 tennis season is fast approaching, and we want to keep our members informed of what is happening.
Annual General Meeting
The AGM will be held on Sunday, April 16th, from 2:00 to 3:30 at Canmore Brewing Company at 1460 Railway Ave. We know that AGMs can be dry, so we decided to have it at a brewery to make it more enticing!

The agenda will include the following:
- Review and approve the 2022 Financial Statements.
- Review the highlights of the Member Survey that we did last fall.
- Election of the 2023-2024 Board of Directors. All the existing board members have agreed to stay on for the next year. In addition, we have heard from one CTA member who would like to join the board and assist in member communication. Since we have a full board, there won't be any arm-twisting.
- An update on Lions Park Tennis Court expansion, fund-raising (more good news to announce!), the timeline for completion and when we expect programs to get underway.
- Provide info on an option for reserving a court before Lions Park completion.
- We are looking for a volunteer to help with this summer's Kids' Tennis program.
- Discussion on the tennis club's 100th Anniversary in 2023!
