General Rules of the Game

Tennis is a great sport! Help keep it that way for yourself and others by following some simple guidelines.

Court Access
  • Tennis courts reservations are encouraged. Players with court reservations have priority access.
  • Reserve a court on CanmoreTennis.ca to ensure you can play.
  • In Canmore, everyone can play tennis. If you don’t have a reservation and a court is available, happy hitting!
  • Players without court reservations must limit play to 45 minutes when others are waiting.
  • Fido (or any other pet) belongs outside the fenced court areas.
Show Others How it’s Done
  • Be a mentor. Help players who are learning to grow Canmore’s tennis community.
  • Keep the courts in good shape.
  • Tennis is harder than it looks! If your ball goes on the other court, wait until their play is finished to retrieve your ball.
